Price considerably higher than quote. Contractor left site several times for several hours without notice. Did not arrive with proper equipment. Work took longer than expected.

I really don’t need any help but I thought you might want to know this. On 1 Apr 11, I requested Zoysia sod help from your website. Since I was unable to post it online, following is my review of Lee Murray’s work, which I gave a half-star in each of your three designated places. Contractor called and came Fri, 1 Apr 11, husband was there; he gave $400 verbal quote for work, nothing written down, to be done Sat 2 Apr. Did not come, no call Sat, Sun, or Mon. I called him Tue, 5 Apr, & he came alone on Wed, 6 Apr, apologized for not calling. He stayed here one hour on Wed, filled two spots with topsoil where tree stumps had been ground out, and covered that with 17 strips of good Zoysia sod. Then he only partially did what he had proposed; he did not fill in or smooth out several other areas. My husband was not home when he finished. I paid him $400 when he finished; husband disappointed that it was not a professionally done job and wanted me to call him back. But since I had already paid him the $400 and there was not a written estimate, I didn’t know if the contractor would even respond. Perhaps he felt it was too small a job to be done right. I do plan on using your services again since you offer help for many other services.
