Brian is probably the best contractor we have had so far (out of 5 or 6), though the comparison is a bit easy as we've had many bad experiences.  Brian's key positives are that he quoted a fair price, stuck to the quote and delivered good quality work.  In addition, at the end of the job, he took down a list of our concerns with the results and addressed them at no additional cost.   <br /> <br />The primary downsides of Brian are that he is sometimes difficult to reach (via both e-mail and phone) and his teams work in spurts.  For our project, he got off to a very fast start - taking it to probably 80% complete in 2 to 3 days.  The work then stopped for weeks because we were waiting for parts and waiting to get back into his schedule.  If you don't mind the downsides of lack of communication and intermittent work schedules, you will likely be very happy working with Brian.  We would hire him again.
