Project: Install a Wood Fence
Just moved into a new home and needed a few things done. Sonny gave me a great price to remove some small trees and build a fence. I thought he was exaggerating when he said the fence would be up before lunch time. My dogs were enjoying the yard by 12:30. The fence looks great and my new neighbors have already been asking who build such a great looking fence so fast and how to get in touch with him.

Project: Install Carpentry Framing
I did hire LAH Construction,The professionals at LAH Construction are patient with my requests and easy to communicate with. We made adjustments to the original design after speaking brainstorming with Mr. Hatzel in person while looking at the work area and the the completed work turned out even better than I had expected when planning the original design. The company is very professional and knows the trade. The quality of work was excellent and we would definitely use the services again in the future. We could tell LAH Construction worked hard and cared about the customer they work for.

Needed an ADA compliant toilet purchased and installed. Sonny called promptly and gave the price over the phone. He was able to do the work the next day. He was running late and called me. This was great, since so many companies don't bother. Sonny was very professional and did an excellent job.

Project: Remodel or Renovate One or More Rooms
Do not ever hire this contractor! We first met with Sonny in January, hired him in February, and he was supposed to start in early March. After pushing back the start date twice to late March, we finally had to fire him in mid-June for a project he told us would take "2-3 weeks tops". He does the work himself and does not have a regular crew of subs, so you will have to wait until he can find someone to do what he can't/doesn't want to do. Don't be surprised if you think he is coming and then he doesn't respond to your calls/emails/texts for a week at a time. He can't do a lot of things on a project he says he can do (cabinetry for one).
