Project: Reface Already Installed Cabinets
I completed my contract over a month ago, paid half of the total cost up front and all I have received is someone coming out last week on short notice to measure my counter tops for the granit replacements.

Custom materials take a longer time to get delivered. We give a 6-8 week time frame for work to start. Once we start the job we need daily and timely access to complete the project as promised.

Project: Reface Already Installed Cabinets
Even though the work took a little longer than promised, the installer did a wonderful job. He was very courteous and did his best to ensure the job was perfect. He even stayed until 9:30 pm to finish the job on a Saturday night. I would recommend Mark Levy and his team for any cabinet job. He also have a group of professionals if you need other work complete - ie: bathrooom countertop and facuet installations.

the finished cabinets do look good but on his last day, he said he had completed the job. however, the next day, i realized he had not placed trim on all the edges. it took months for them to come back and complete the job. also, for the glass inset cabinets, they are not held in place by the correct size brackets so they "wiggle" and are not sturdy. in addition, he didn't use a long enough screw to hold one of the doors in place and it fell off within 3 months

Client could not grant access during normal working hours. We offer a 5 year warranty on materials and workmanship. We were never advised of a problem or we would have taken care of it.

Project: Repair Cabinets
Great initial meeting and measuring; the price was higher than I expected but there was a guarantee connected to it. Installation was very lengthy because the drawers were the wrong size and needed to be remade on site. The carpenter was TERRIFIC! He was really stuck, poor guy. Very neat, competent, nice to chat with.

Sometimes material comes in the wrong size. Our technicians are skilled enough to make it work the first time, regardless of the issues or time required.

OUTSTANDING..Mark is easy to work with and his prices are VERY fair. We felt comfortable with Mark immediately. He knows his trade and is very professional. He prides himself on being on time and having available samples of wood types and cabinet examples. All references we called spoke VERY highly of Mark and his work. I will recommend Mark to others.

We had some kitchen cabinets refaced and some new cabinets put in. Mark came out to give us an estimate and was very relaxed, friendly, and helpful. We were able to get much more for less money than Home Depot Home Services had offered. The two men who did the installation were friendly and competent, but not always on time. Daily cleanup wasn't as throrough as I wished for. I also had to wait two extra weeks for a custom cabinent and one area to be done over, both of which I think could've been planned for better. But Mark made sure my kitchen was funtional as soon as possible and made sure I was happy with the end result, which I am.

Custom work takes a little extra time. The job is not finished until the client is happy.

Kitchen Tune Up was the best choice I could have made. Mark came to our rescue when we tried to do remodeling on our own. He was understanding and turned our mess into something to be proud of. He was there to help us figure out what to do with our cabinets. All the workmen were kind, professional, and skilled. Any one who is thinking of remodeling themselves, call Mark first. I know if we need him again he will respond right away. Thanks Mark, you made my holidays.
