Project: Repair an Asphalt Shingle Roof
Jim and Simeon were lifesavers when I needed to have my roof tarped, not once, but twice in 2 days due to wind damage. They were knowledgeable, super friendly and very thorough. I can't wait for my roof to be totally completed! Jim also had the best price out of 3 companies that I contacted.

Project: Hire a Handyman
Arrived promptly, worked carefully and made innovations to complete my list of tasks to my satisfaction. Excellent communication skills and a hard working, honest person. I would DEFINITELY hire Jim again and plan to recommend him to my friends.

Jim with King James was awesome to work with!! He was prompt in his reply to my call, came out the same day with an estimate and 4 days later the job is done (and that included the time to order the parts necessary) Would recommend his work ethic, professionalism and quality work to anyone in the Central Oregon area.

Project: Repair a Deck or Porch
I sent an email to ServiceMagic just moments after Jim Roe, King James Construction, finished his excellent job repairing my deck. I don't know where it went so here goes again: Not only was his working for 5 hours in terrible weather to rid my deck of mold amazing; I must include that he was very friendly, trustworthy, honest and the cost was really reasonable. Seriously, I can't recommend him highly enough...I have asked him to make up some plans for building me a garden shed...can't wait! Caroline Kruse in Bend

Project: Repair or Partially Replace a Wood Fence
Jim is very pleasant to work with. He is respectful, respectable, has good work ethics, and is mindful of the overall big picture of the project. He listens to what the customer wants, makes appropriate suggestions as applicable, and then does exactly what the customer wants. He makes bids that are reasonable and does not try to gouge the customer. In fact, he is quite the opposite. He cleaned up the worksite before he left, asked if the work was satisfactory before leaving, and offered to fix any problems that may come up in the future. I will definitely use this man and his company (King James Construction) again in the future.

Project: Repair Window Frames
Was very pleasant; seemed to understand the problem & how to fix it (because he seemed to understand how the windows should be installed in the first place). His work was very good & fast. He stopped to explain what he was doing & how it fit in the plan/est. When there were different approaches available, he explained the options & allowed me to help decide. I plan on using him again as soon as next weel! Thanks
