Since 1990, I have been building and remodeling—from major home renovations to garages, decks, basement finishing, and everything in between. Keeping the highest standard of workmanship is not easy but it's the only way it should be done. His work was adequate but his work habits were unreliable -- sometimes late, sometimes a no-show, and I had to remind him to do some of the finish work. He did, however, help us out with an additional piece of the remodel by getting oak woodwork at a good rate, installing it, and making a fireplace surround and mantle for us.
