Kevin Smith Custom Renovations has served the Cape May, Cumberland and Atlantic County regions since 1986. We are a family owned business that offers services from small projects to renovations and additions. Kevin can design and build your dream bedroom & master bath suite, or a custom tile shower and bath, as well as repair that rotted wood on your door entrance. Kevin uses only top rated and licensed subcontractors for all plumbing, electrical, & HVAC. Kevin personally handles any and all aspects of carpentry, from rough framing to finish trim. Our entire team of professionals offer pricing that is highly competitive as well as appropriate for our present economy. We do not deliver an estimate to you, we give you an exact price on your project, and that price remains the same as long as the job does not change from either customer changes or un-foreseen items not apparent or hidden. Senior discounts are available & emergency plumbing, electrical services are available 24 hours.

Project: Install Ceramic or Porcelain Tile
Workmanship was OK and work was completed on time as promised. Contractor is very knowledgable. However, he never answered the phone or returned phone calls during the time the project was being worked on. Communication was done instead via emails. The only times he answered the phone were the times I gave him the checks( first and last checks). With the amount of money spent, an OK quality, and the fact that I was ignored the whole time, I think I can get a better contractor.

this customer requested a significantly lower price than originally quoted, and then after project was completed within time frame, asked for additional work to be completed at no additional costs. His bathroom project was completed for less than $ 2000.00, which in todays market should have cost $ 3200.oo plus materials. I try to satisfy all customers to best of my ability, i cannot satisfy all 100%.This customers english was also very poor and difficult to understand on the phone, so thats the reason for emails, and in todays technology most of my customers prefer emails over phones, especially since everything is documented.

Kevin is a top carpenter, we love the addition he took our concept and made it a reality. The work started later then we planned and took longer then we planned but we are very happy with the results and will use him on our next project.

I had a kitchen design with quite a bit of intricate detail, time consuming and difficullt to work with. Kevin installed it beautifully. He took his time and worked thru the snags and mishaps that occur with every kitchen. The final product was beautiful. pleased in Cape May

Kevin was an excellent contractor and I am so glad to have found him. He handled my bathroom and condo renovation basically on his own as I live 3 hours away from the unit. Kevin was willing to pick up supplies, work with no water and limited heat and did an excellent job. I will certainly use Kevin again and recommend him to anyone in need of a contractor in South Jersey. Thanks again Kevin!

He was very prompt, always returned calls or answered them directly. He was very detailed as to what needed to be done and how he was going to accomplish it. His proposal was right in line with the final bill, with no surprises. He always was willing to answer any questions. The work completed was done in time and we loved the end result.
