Project: Paint or Stain Single Items
Contractor arrived at reasonable time. Protected areas well. However, he could have done a better job. I had a ceiling beam painted and there are wavy edges toward the top near the transition of the drywall and the beam. It is really only noticeable if you look for it and seeing it is high toward the top of the ceiling, it isn't really that noticeable. That makes me wonder if recommending him is in order. Nice fellow, but the work could have been better.

I painted one beam that had popcorn ceiling texture on two sides. It's difficult if not impossible to create a prefect line against popcorn texture

Ken painted our garage doors. He told us what he was going to do and then performed the work on time exactly as he promised. We are very pleased with the results.

The quality of the work wasn't up to my expectations. The cabinents that I had stripped and re-stained didn't have the smooth finish as they had before. Although he came down on his price, I still feel that it was a little high for the quality of work.

The finish was brushed not sprayed and calif. has modified all lacquers and oil-based paints for air quality reasons. The finish will never look and feel like it did two years ago!
