overall the job was fine, I was asked to pay cash which made me a little nervous... I was also asked to help with the heavy lifting, which I was ok with to get the job done faster, but an assistant may be a better idea.

John installed a countertop in my laundry room and I contacted him again for a kitchen project. He is prompt, informative, patient and has flawless workmanship. The finishing carpenter that was on the project (who is also a friend of mine) said in all the projects he has been on, this was a "top notch counter guy!". John's prices are excellent - the added bonus is that he is a nice guy....
