They were real professionals. Fast response back, fast quote, prompt start to the project, entire upstairs done in 4 days including repairing wood, stain and 3 coats, not a lot of dust, fair price, and everything was as advertised. Floors look great. Low hassle, quality work. Just what I wanted.

Hale crew did install of solid hardwood flooring; we already had flooring materials on hand and subfloor preparation done. We had started this flooring remodel as a do-it-yourself project, but at the last minute, chose to have a professional job for the final installation. We requested the online quote on their website and got a call within 100 seconds of clicking 'get quote' button; then a couple of hours later we had a written bid following a personal inspection of the job. Their price was competitive. Once they started, all we can say is, get out of their way; they just went to work and did a good job. At first there was a concern that we might be a box of flooring short (even though their estimate of area was only 10 sq ft different than my calculation). But as it turned out, there were 3 boxes leftover (approx 60 sq ft or 10%). We attribute that to their ability to efficiently use the materials, leaving very little waste. Hale's job resulted in a full floor makeover for a family and dining room which now looks a lot richer than the old carpet it replaced.

Hale Floors did a wonderful job refinishing my floors. They gave me an estimate 9 months before I was able to do the work, but they honored that estimate. They were willing to accomodate a couple of logistical problems I had. They were always on time, they came to double check their workers, they asked my opinion and treated me as if I were part of the process. I love my floors! They look wonderful. I really liked and trusted all those who worked in my home. My only advice to someone refinishing their floors is to go on vaction while the work is being done. The whole process took a week and it was a bit overwhelming.

The 1000 sq ft of hardwood floor looks great. Hale Floors were on time, completed the work as planned, and were very professional in their performance. The project was not simple, there are over a hundred corners in the home design and all of them were made to look like new. We would gladly use them on another project.

I received a fast response from Hale Floor Service after my initial contact with them through Servicemagic. Jeff Hale set up a meeting time and provided me a quote in a very timely manner. Their prices were reasonable. After giving Hale the job, and sInce I was preping the floor, Jeff provided me tips on how to remove the old flooring and answered my questions as I went through this process and his information was very helpful. The timing on delivery, installatation and the sealing/finishing was as I was told. The floor has turned out beautifully. Overall it was a good experience and I recommend this company.

They gave me a very competitive quote but the job was not done in a clean or detailed way. I found some things sealed into the wood floor sealant that should have been swept or cleaned up prior to putting on the final coat. I was not pleased with that aspect of the job. The floors were refinished well and they were on time and courteous, but as for the final sealing there were too many bits of debris found sealed to the wood floors. Very disappointing, to think a quick sweep or closer look at the floors, and it all could have been avoided.

He was very professional and did the job faster than we expected. There were a couple of items that we were concerned about and he quickly took care of them to our satisfaction. We plan on using him again the next time we need to have our floors touched up.
