Laverne went out of his way to install new doors on a duplex. When the doors were delayed, he installed weather stripping. Other than the manufacturing of the doors (not his fault), everything was on time and as quoted. He does need to improve his computer skills and be able to provide invoice and receipts better.

He did a great jobs: fixed shelves, installed fire-detector alarms, grouted sink and shower, installed new shower head and other things. We would strongly recommend him to our neighbors and friends.

Lavern has helped us out very well. He has ordered replacement doors for our house and as soon as they arrive, he will be back to install them. What work he has done so far has been very good.

My toilet is not working properly. He charged me 75. He replaced no parts, tightened a couple of screws and I have the same problem. I do not want him to return but would like someone to fix my toilet, hopefully at no charge as i have already paid for nothing.

Mr. Welch was prompt, his work was excellent, and his fee was reasonable. He graciously accepted a smaller project (creating a flagpole placque on front of my home)and I have got him thinking about another project to enhance my kitchen. Mr. Welch was paid on date of service (10/12/09) $100.00 for this project. He did not give me a receipt, and does not seem to work off billing statements. Total rating: 4 1/2 stars.
