Excellent contractor. I had a general idea and specific needs on what I wanted for a garage specifically a car lift in one of the bays, as well as having it attached to the porch but not take away from the appearance of the house and property. Jim understood my needs and the aesthetics issue. He came up with some ideas and made some suggestions on items that I had not taken into consideration. He and his crew as well as the subcontractors were all very professional. They all understood what I was trying to accomplish and they did an outstanding job. Jim communicated all steps along the way and made several suggestions on some items that he knew would be a benefit to me and what I was planing on doing with the car lift as a hobbyist. I would highly recommend Bonin construction to anyone building an addition or doing any type of remodel, Jim can design and build exactly what you are looking for. I was very pleased with the results and am glad I chose Bonin construction for our garage. Mark.

Project: Build an Addition
Jim was willing to work within our budget. We knew the estimate he gave us was fair, but we needed to be creative to get to the price that we could financially handle. He was creative and able to cut some cost by reusing existing windows and doors, but without reducing the quality of what we wanted. Some surprises developed over the course of the project that couldn't be foreseen and Jim handled most without us having to stress about it, and when it came to cosmetics offered us different options. He stayed on budget and worked with us when we changed our minds and ideas. His workers are friendly and helpful and this was a great experience.

Project: Build a Garage
Jim took the time during my free quote to ensure he knew exactly what I wanted in my project. He spent over 20 minutes at the site, and made sure that he understood every detail. He also continually communicated with me and even though I was unable to start my project right away, he continued to contact me and keep in touch. I would reccomend Bonin Construction to all my friends and family.

Project: Renovate or Repair a Home
Jim is very personable and family-oriented. He understood what our family was trying to accomplish and the reasons for building the addition in the fashion we did. Jim is attentive to detail, understands functionality and form, and made very helpful suggestions as the process moved forward. The neighbors are ready to hire Jim for their jobs because of his cleanliness, orderliness and professionalism. The result was a terrific addtion to our house and we will not hesitate to call Jim for future jobs (we interviewed contractors for three years before settling on Jim, so save yourself the time and call him).

I was very pleased with all of Jim Bonin's work. He always asked is everything ok. If I didn't like something he changed it right away, with a nice friendly smile. When completed the jobs he made sure I was completely satisfied before he took payment. I will call Jim back again when I have more projects to do.. Thank you Linda

Jim does very nice work. He's knowledgeable and is very thorough in his work. He's also very accommodating when you need to make a change to your plans. He works with you and makes recommendations. I'm delighted with the way the room turned out and would definitely recommend him.
