Project: Repair Exterior Trim
Despite issues with Joe's customer service, his work quality was excellent. The problem we had with him was the cost and time far exceeded the estimate so we far exceeded our budget as a result. Would be hesitant to work with again and only if there was better communication on that aspect of the project prior to and after the work is underway.

J.W. Shaw Contractors (Joe Shaw), did an excellent job on our kitchen entrance replacement.
From start to finish Joe was friendly, courteous, personable, on time and professional.

Project: Install or Repair Door or Window Screens
We contacted Joe to help us replace screens, & address a few additional minor projects (like fixing a falling in ceiling, light, adding some support under a door, etc.) He addressed all of those projects quickly, & also helped us address a few carpentry projects. He is very good at identifying areas that need to to be improved in a house, & helping you understand what & why they should be fixed as well as what the cost is.
We ended up spending way more than we had hoped, but the scope of the project expanded. That wasn't due to Joe upselling us but rather the fact that we found a handyman who is very capable of addressing a range projects
