J. Lance Smith - Architect

J. Lance Smith - Architect & Urban Designer. Lance Smith is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (M. Arch) and Columbia University (MSc. Arch and Urban Design). He worked in South Africa for 30 years as a partner in an architectural firm and won many awards for his work. He has experience in the management, design, and documentation of a large range of architectural projects that include academic, healthcare, retail, hospitality, commercial and hi-end residences for Government, Corporate and Private clients. In 1998 he came to the U.S.A., and in 2001 joined Cooper Robertson and Partners, New York, as a project architect. In 2006 he was made a partner and played a central role in a range of important projects for the firm. In between these projects he completed a number of residential commissions in New Jersey.
