Project: Install Drywall
We had a wonderful experience with J. L. Smith Repair and Remodeling. We hired them to remodel our basement and garage. The job included installing drywall, light fixtures, flooring, and shelves; painting, and building a custom wine cellar. We worked closely with Joe and found him to be professional, dependable, flexible, and easy to work with. Joe's work on the wine cellar was outstanding because he worked with our design and, despite some logistical challenges with that design, he created a really beautiful space that we adore. We already plan to hire him again for another project and strongly recommend him to others.

Project: Repair Interior or Exterior Doors
Mr. Smith was prompt in calling to find out about the job. He came by the next day on time to determine the best way to complete the job. He gave an estimate of the cost. After measuring the window, he gave a time when he would return. When he realized that he would be 30 minutes late, he called in a timely manner to inform me. When he showed up, he completed the job at the agreed upon price. I was satisfied with his professionalism and quality of work.

Joe was great! Called the same day. Came on Saturday to assess the problem and back on Sunday to fix it! Personable, professional and knowledgeable! I will definitely call on him for my next repair project!

He worked with the budget I had; neat; prompt and completed work within time frame quoted. I had old pipes and I don't think plumbing is his forte; we had a little hiccup with plumbing but that was taken care of with no damage or additional costs.
