John is a small contractor, can easily get very busy or delayed on another job and therefore may not show up exactly when he said , but it was always within a few hours. When on my job he didn't leave until my job was completely done.

Confirm everything *prior* to the work being performed. Do not make/allow assumptions if you want to get what you are envisioning. Do not settle for inferior product, regardless of who's fault it is.

JEh completed a deck refurbish job for us. They did a great job on time and on budget, and even helped trap a troublesome critter and cut some nasty wisteria down to size. Very helpful recommendations as well. Highly recommend.
