JCW… Read Complete Rating I hired JCW Construction to do the wall and subfloor preparation in a bathroom of my <br />parent's historic home.  The bathroom was already gutted to the studs and floor joists. JCW was to plumb the wall studs and level the floor joists in preparation for a mud floor.  One area of the floor suffered water damage and the sole plate was missing.  JCW did the framing <br />and very little subfloor preparation.  I had to call him back on a weekend when I found his framing sub par.  He spent the entire Sunday afternoon redoing the framing.  He never completed the subfloor.
