We met with Javier last month and he brought samples for review. We initially discussed a driveway replacement. But then agreed to put pavers on both porches and add an extra step, also do any touch up for the concrete. He required $400.00 FOR materials, which we gave him a check that same day. He said that he would call us next week and let us know what day he would do the work. We waited a week and a half, and still, no phone call. After lving 4 msgs, he said he had another job and he couldnt start another one. I asked for our money back, this was 3 WEEKS AGO! STILL NO MONEY OR PHONE CALL! UNPROFESSIONAL!

Reasonable prices and nice, but I asked him if I needed a permit for this work, and he said for the small backyard work we were doing, no. My fault for not checking with our village, & on their first day on the job, we were busted by a village inspector who happened to be in our neighborhood. He went to village hall & applied for his permit later that day, & the work was able to proceed. His proposal/contract was also a bit loose, & he tried to tell me it was $200 more than we agreed to. I reminded him of the faxes we exchanged (the scope of work changed from original bid) and he relented. Do hire, just have 'concrete' contract/permit first.

The project was done the day after providing an estimate. Workmanship on the concrete replacement was excellent. Workmanship on a brick barrier wall was not as good. Price was very competitive.

They tried to change the price and the size of the patio, they did not complete what they said they would do. It was a really horrible experience.
