Carol Allain was fantastic, with no caveats. The remodeling of the kitchen, bathroom, tv room, sitting room, and dining room went smoothly. Everyone involved (including 5 contractors whom Carol recommended) were extraordinary. Painting is beautiful, furniture and window treatments found and purchased through Carol still beautiful and QUALITY a full year later, flooring (tile and wall-to-wall) is beautiful and well-laid, colors blend and flow (open floor-plan) and many compliments received as my friends walk through my home. Absolute quality, absolutely professional, and my experience was that Carol really cared about this job.

Carol did a wonderful job helping us redecorate our tired and out-of-date living room and dining room. She is an excellent listener and at no time did we feel that she was “pushing” her own preferences on us in the choice of fabrics, paint, window treatments, etc. We couldn’t be more delighted with the results! These rooms have truly been transformed and we love using them. She is a whiz with colors!

Ms. Allain provided a very helpful list of suggestions to redecorate the home to prepare it for sale or rental. We retained her only for the report, and she charged a very reasonable fee. The only downside was that when the owner did not agree with all of her suggestions, Ms. Allain became quite agitated and rude and seemed to take it personally. For that reason, I would not want to do business with her again, but I would recommend her to others with that caveat.

From a perspective of 24 years experience as an interior designer in Riverside, I provided an honest assessment of the property above. To bring the home to comparable condition to other like properties for rent or sale, many upgrades would be required. Excellent, she had done 3 homes for us, 2 were away from our area. We are very pleased with her work. She is one of those decorators that really tune in to what the customer wants. Carol has a great feel for the work. She did the work for us, many different types of homes. She has an excellent eye for colors. She taught me how to hang pictures. It is just that her notice is to get things to flow through the house. She is very professional in her work.
