Jon was a handyman that not only removed the tree that fell thru my fence but repaired the fence as well. It looks very nice. I'm considering using him to eventually replace the entire aging fence.

Responded promptly to my inquiry. However, failed to contact me when I was expecting him - had some lame excuse about not being able to find my phone number. I had to call him later that day to reschedule. Qualified "Yes" on the recommend.

I agree, not being able call is a lame excuse, but my cell phone got an upgrade and my texts with phone numbers got reorganized and I was not able to find where they went on my phone untill reciently... Technology is wonderful!!!

He was prompt and courteous...but he took longer than I thought and he charges by the hour as well as additional costs on things he needed. I prefer a flat rate and knowing how long a job will be done plus the estimate of the total due after completion. The job was done well, but cost about 4 times more than I thought it would.

Thank you for your feedback. I am glad you are happy with the finished product. I believe my daily and hourly charges were clear and my e-mail detailed the material costs. It is a labor intensive undertaking to custom reinstall an air conditioner with clear acrylic into a window that is properly weather tight and water proof and can be easily removed when it stops working. I did not charge my full daily rate and showed the material receipts upon billing.
