Project: Repair Drywall

Paul Matthews is very responsive and has been very meticulous with his work. He also offered suggestions and has been helpful in getting my Mom's condo ready to be put on the market. I would highly recommend him to others who need drywall and painting work done and other jobs that need to be completed. His pricing is definitely reasonable too.

Project: Repair Drywall

The ceiling repair and repainting/popcorn looks good. They also washed the walls and moulding on the first floor and the result looked very nice. The removed the old caulk on one bathtub and re-caulked it, and also caulked the kitchen and bathroom counter backsplashes. The caulking job wasn't as even as I would have liked in some places, but it was sufficient.

Paul was a really nice guy and definitely knew what he was talking about. He estimated the project to take about 5 days, and it did, but I think it probably should have taken a little longer. It looks like he started to worry about the time frame more then the work itself. Don't get me wrong, the areas he did generally looked good. But, he missed several significant areas, almost completely avoiding one room. For what I paid, I expected more. There were several areas where bubbles had built up in the mud and when sanded became large holes (this could have easily been fixed with one more thin layer). I hate to say all this, but its true

Paul is just about finished with our project. He has done an amazing job repairing drywall and painting. He's a perfectionist who will not quit until the job is done right. He is always happy and friendly, he shows up when he says he will, he had excellent references and I'll be adding one more reference letter to his file. We plan to hire him again for our next painting project.
