Project: Install a Retaining Wall
I must commend Lee Idom for his professionalism, aggressiveness in pursuing the project, and prompt follow up. The crew was great, they did a very nice job and thoroughly cleaned it up. Lee was available at my request, and attentive to my demands. The wall is massive and it looks great. Lee was was happy to come back and put in the finishing touch as I requested.

Project: Install a Brick, Stone or Block Wall
Responsiveness: Great initially, terrible later. Toward the end of my large project, phone calls would not be returned for a week or two. Now, after I paid, I've been unsuccessfully trying to contact Lee Idom for 3+ months. My one year plant warranty will apparently require a lawsuit to be honored. Speed: Job took 2-3 times longer than the estimated 4-5 wks because the crew kept being pulled off to other jobs. Yard was a mud pit for 2-3 months, which is a real pain with a large dog. Workmanship: Crew does great stonework. Cinderblock wall seems well-built, though mortaring should have been cleaner. Planting and irrigation were adequate.

Project: Install Interlocking Pavers for Patios, Walks and Steps
Lee and his team did a great job on our patio. They paid attention to my concerns and were professional in all their dealings. I love our new patio and I recommend using them for anyone else's patio project.

Would have been 0 stars but that is not an option. They do not return phone calls and are virtually unreachable even though we did a large contract with them. I have been trying to reach them to have everything fixed but my phone calls have gone unanswered for weeks. Please choose another company and save yourself this headache.

Quote was timely and accurate. Work although taking slightly longer than estimated was correct and well done. Did have one minor issue where a new bed had winter grass push up through it. Mr. Idom was very professional and took the extra time to show and test the sprinkler system with me. I did recommend him to my neighbor.

Idom landscaping first started teh project without calling me first and started before the agreed upon date. They severed my cable, phone and alarm lines without notifying me. I had to discover all this after arriving home in the evening from work. They did repair the lines that evening but definitely got off on the wrong start. They did not do daily check-ins on the project to inform me of status or progress. They took longer than promised for the work. 10 days. took 17 days for the work. They did return my calls when I did call them but I think they are more for commercial work than residential would be my guess.

Project: Install a Retaining Wall
Met with Lee at the job site. Never brought a contact. I asked for a contact the next day. No contact. Said he forgot both times. He never brought a contact as asked for. He agreed to haul all rock away and pour the wall. The wall wasn't dug deep enough as prior conversation agreement. So I called Lee asking if he could help me out or explain. No return call. No show. No nothing. The Wall was set and poured Friday the 7th of September. Without him calling me back. In agreement he was supposed to pour the wall which he did and all haul all the rock off which he didn't. He left the job site a complete mess! Three piles of large rock and a large pile of cut offs form the forms. Its been over a month! I had to hire someone else to haul all the rock away. Clean up the cut offs and job site. Had to have the wall back filled with the dirt which he didn't do. I would never recommend this contractor.

The ladscaping they did was gorgeous and they did it so quickly. I loved what they did with the limestone bricks around our big tree and bushes. Rusty was our landscaping designer and he really listened to our needs and with out us telling him what our budget was he nailed it on the head and gave us a quote to do everything for the exact amount we wanted to pay. A real professional.
