Project: Install or Replace Exterior Window Shutters
I met with Ken for a quote and he was smart, open and friendly about the work I needed done to replace the shutters on my house. The quote provided was right on the spot and ended up being half as much as the next company that I met with. After providing the down payment I never heard from him. I called to follow up a week later and he said he would call me back, but never did. Another week later they showed up at the house to do the job. Thankfully it was a small job that was on the exterior of the house, but I just found it all a little strange - no call back or a scheduled appt to install. Overall I'm happy with the work and the price.

Project: Repair an Asphalt Shingle Roof
My sales consultant Ken was very nice, and answered all my questions. The quote I received was accurate and competitive with other quotes. I appreciated Ken’s honesty regarding my roof replacement. Other companies told me I would need every piece of plywood on my roof replaced (before they even took off the shingles) but Ken said he did not think that would be the case and he was correct I only needed one board replaced, this saved me over $2000. If anything I would only have one small negative regarding Home0-Kim. While Ken was great I found it a little difficult to understand and work with the people who answered the main Home-Kim phone number (they did not seem to be native English speakers), they were polite however and gave me Ken’s phone number instead so I could speak with him. I would recommend them to others looking for roof repair or replacement.

Job took way too long. Contacted them in September and they did not finish up until end of November. Otherwise good job.

Order not received until November. Customer was to have supplied us with material to reinstall. We had to find material and purchase for repair.

Superior customer service and repair. Extremely professional, friendly and helpful sales manager, Ken Alderfer. The crew was very professional, friendly and the work met my very high expectations. I will call Ken Alderfer for any future projects needed on my home.
