I was quoted for 8 hours, the packers said they were told 10, and the actual move took 12! We've moved multiple times in the past few years, and I've NEVER had a mover take that long (we had most of our things packed in this move, so it should have taken even less than the others). The actual movers showed up unprepared and had to run out to get items at a local Uhaul (I spoke to the owner during the quote process and sent an email the week before the move, they didn't come with a mattress bag or packing supplies for our TV). After the move the owner had the nerve to send us an email asking if/what we tipped the guys, too. Never again...
