There was no trip charge just to receive an estimate. For the outside line to the pond: They pulled the GFI license and scheduled the inspector for me. Very convenient. Inside the house used to be an electrical nightmare: outdated wiring, missing feeds, potential firehazard. They fixed it fast and professionally.

Brian Hickerson is just who I was looking for do do the job. I wanted a small quality firm that I could trust. He gave me a fair estimate and then did a perfect job of installing two outside outlets in my back yard. I will use him again.

They said that they would give us an estimate before doing work. But in turn did some kind of "diagnostic" in the beginning as a part of the estimation and charged us $160 for the estimate. We will never use them again and my wifse who is a member of the Warrenton business board is bringing the matter up to them. Called Hickerson Electric to complain and got a woman on the phone that was rude and would not listen to my side of the issue. We just wanted a simple estimate without being charged, that is what we were told woulds happen.

We were asked to troubleshoot 2 exterior outlets that were not working. Troubleshooting is a professional service to determine the cause of something not working. We found water damage on the outlets and the circuit was not installed in the panel. We gave the client a quote to make the repairs. The charge was for the troubleshooting and our dispatch fee. The client chose not to have the repairs made. Our technician met with one owner of the home and the call to our office was by their spouse. We made an attempt to explain to him what the charge was for and he hung up on us.

Hickerson brothers is the best. Alan talked me through my problems on the telephone and gave me advice before i had even decided to make a service appointment. He also went around town looking for the part i needed for my curcuit braker box. I would definately recommend them. Fast, considerate, friendly service, and they even sent me a nice thank you card after they had performed the work. Great job guys! ~Abigail
