Project: Repair a Garage Door
One of the rollers came off the rail on our garage door. Put my name in and they immediately called. Said they could come in the next 1-2 hours and were there within an hour. Tech said all the rollers (10) were worn and recommended replacing them. As the set up is 15 yrs+ it was definitely possible, so I allowed that. Service charge/labor was reasonable $79. Each roller cost $19 plus a bent bracket was $40. So it was a costly repair but fair I think. Won't really know the quality until it runs for a while. Tech was knowledgeable, helpful and nice.

Project: Repair a Garage Door
On the phone he said 79$ and when they got there first guy said 89$. Then we reminded him that it was 79$. In two minutes before inspecting he said your plastic rollers are bad, you should put nylon ones. We asked him the cost he said 249$. We said we would go to home depot and pick up the parts. He said it is not available in store. We found it for 15$ on amazon. Then he said he would come back and charge another $79. We declined and said we will try anothe person so he said he hd to charge 79$ anyway. So weasked him to pop it back in. He said i will lubricate and add more tension. Just before adding tension he said that the 126$ spring mught break. At this point we thought he might just break it to charge us so we said just lubricate and leave. Worst experience ever. Didnt expect this from service magic screened businesses. Disappointment. Avoid this company

Being on time is always an issue for me. I can gladly say he was right on time. I ended up figuring out my problem right before he got there so to not waste my $89 service call, he tightened up some stuff for me and was on his way!

Project: Repair or Adjust a Garage Door Opener
I called Heritage to fix the rattling noise when a garage door is opened and closed. They walked in and did a routine garage maintenance work for 10 min for a cost of $89. Until today, the rattling noise of garage, which is not fixed, reminds me that I paid a high price for nothing. Really DISAPPOINTING :(

Project: Repair a Garage Door
Replaced both springs and carriage (the plastic slider moving along screw drive). Heritage charged me $79 for the parts and $89 for labor. Online price is $18.95 for the parts. Way too expensive. Garage door could not open - no choice.
