Heath Stairworks helped us repair our stair spindles that had been falling out due to poor installation from previous contractor. Heath Stairworks did a great job and met our budget for the job. Would recommend them to anyone needing work.

I was told the job would take two days to complete. I assumed that meant two, eight hour days (16 hours total). In reality, the job took 36 hours to complete and the workman was at my home two evenings until after 9 PM. The quality of the work is EXCELLENT but the misrepresentation of the time it would take to complete caused me to have to reschedule other work and extended my overall project by two weeks. I highly recommend Heath Stairworks for quality but not not for timeliness.

They are also know as Blue Ribbon Stairs (BRS Stairs) and Absolute Custom Wood Design. The latter was their name when I contacted them through Service Magic, and that's precisely what I needed, since I wanted the handrail to be longer than usual, made of long solid pieces of wood without visible seams, and I was going to pay extra for it. After we agreed on everything, and they started, I found that the rail was composed of shorter standard-length chunks glued together with clearly visible seams. I alerted them in the middle of the job, but they said we never agreed on longer pieces. My mistake. I should have put every detail in the contract.
