He does wonderful work. He works with you very closely and trys to find your dislikes & likes before he starts the work on your cabinets. He is very curtious, communicaties well. His workers are very nice and work quickly.

Rick did a great job on my cabinets and even included in the price a few odds and ends that needed painting. He's a first class craftsman and a man of his word regarding the time he would appear here and the time the entire project would take. He even, willingly, came back to finish a small area I felt needed more treatment, He is pleasant and courteous. I felt unconcerned leaving him and his helper here alone in the house while I took care of errands. I wholeheartedly recommend Rick for cabinet work of any sort. They damaged by Master Bath mirrors & would not replace them. They have never been back to finish filling all of the nail holes in the cabinets. They said they would be back the following week. That was about 5 months ago. Some of the drawer fronts have fallen off. They didn't always show up the day they said they would & never bothered to even call. I had to pay for half of the job cost up front prior to even starting the job & then they didn't start working for quite some time. I had a hard time contacting someone to find out when they would even start the work. I thought they perhaps may have gone out of business.

This is very unfortunate. First of all, I was reluctant to even take on the job do to the fact that we were ask to finish another carpenters job. This job entailed the finishing/staining of wood that had been sitting unfinished for two years. As for the mirror not mirrors, the scratch was there before we started. We were unaware of the drawer front issue. If they would have called us we would have gone back to fix the issue. With regards to us never bothering to call them, is a communication that they had with each other. We would call and talk to him and he would forgot to inform her of the schedule.

Very good experience. Fair price, and a job well done. Rick understood what we wanted and we are very pleased with the results. Our kitchen looks great. Excellent work, and very clean.

Rick Hastey did a wonderful job of making our custom cabinets for two bathrooms. He was efficient and pleasant to work with in our home. I hope to hire him to do office cabinets in the near future.
