Review by Peggy E.in Mount Juliet, TN Project: Hire a Handyman
I was very pleased with Christopher. He was friendly and does EXCELLENT work. He build shelves in my garage, put screening on my back porch and straightened up my backyard that had a lot of stuff in it after a recent move. A+

They were prompt, polite, and efficient. I had a 6' x 8' mirror to hang. They immediately went to work, moved the furniture away, hung the mirror beautifully, and replaced all the furniture in a very timely manner. I would use them again for other jobs.

Review by a customerin Mount Juliet, TN Project: Repair Drywall
tim came in for a couple of hours, never called or showed back-up.tore-up more than he fixed.didnt put a cover down when dry-wall mudding, got mud all over my carpet.dont hire any of charlie roses bunch.idiots.then he tried to bill me.
Comment from Handyman Matters
Unfortunate situation w/ inaccurate info that we can't resolve because customer won't return calls. Our craftsman has never had bad review. Drywall repairs take multiple visits which was explained up front. We made initial repair, but couldn't do the rest because homeowner was asleep in room to be repaired. Waking the customer to do that was not an option. Communications were made w/ spouse about return trip. Didn't make it back later that afternoon & communicated w/ spouse. Customer emails that he doesn't want us to come back but won't talk about resolving matters & threatens to arrest anyone that comes to his home.

Review by a customerin Hermitage, TN Project: Hire a Handyman
Worst job I have seen. Very dissatisfied. I dont think they sent someone qualified to do the job. He had to come back and redo and still did a poor job. My sink looks horrible! He broke my sprayer hose, marred my stainless steel sink with grinder marks, used some type of putty on my granite and now I cant get the silicone he used off of the inside of my sink without. We are fixing the sprayer ourselves, because I dont want the person back in my house. The more Iook at my sink, the madder I get. Calling today to complain.
Comment from Handyman Matters
We have been to the home to resolve matters so comments above are not completely updated. Original work was not up to our standards and corrections were made to resolve matters. Scuff marks on stainless were buffed out and putty (epoxy) and silicon was removed to apply clear silicon to sink/granite seam. Waiting to return to home to check final seal of sink and verify water drain continuity of sink assembly.
We unfortunately did not live up to the original expectations but are working diligently to resolve current conditions to acceptable levels for the customer.

Billing method is horrible and it was not mentioned properly before start of the work
Comment from Handyman Matters
Billing was explained at time of appointment through standardized script that is used. Pricing was again reviewed at start of job by craftsman before any work was done and is printed on invoice for customer to okay job at start up. We have no hidden fees and disclose everything up front. It is unfortunate that the communications were not where everyone was in agreement at the onset.
