Handyman Connection

Made arrangements to be out of the house due to bed/bathroom accessabilty. When able to regain access, found that the initial issue was addrressed very well. However, the final coat of poly was applied, there was dust/ hair on the floor, the spray used landed on an antique dining table in the kitchen, not all of the areas had been sanded prior the poly application. We brought the concerns to the workmans attention & it was addressed. It took an addition 2 wks. I thought that the estimate included supplies, but learned when paying balance that there was additional $300 due and that it is "company" policy not to include it estimate.

No doubt it is always unfortunate when a client feels that our level of service was not a perfect “5”. That said I would like to state for record that upon notification by the customer we dispatched the craftsman to make the necessary repairs. The reason we did not begin the rework immediately was due to the fact that the area in question blocked access to the client’s only bathroom and they had to make arrangements to spend the night with relatives. All prospective clients are notified by our office and a second time by the craftsman that any materials required are their financial responsibility.

It is always a disappointment when a customer feels their experience with Handyman Connection is less than satisfactory. That said, I think it would be helpful if the homeowner would have provided a detailed explanation. The quality of work was good. The contractor underestimated the hours that would be needed to complete the work, so the price was more than expected, but it wasn't unreasonable.

They were fast and did a wonderful job.

I think they did a great job. Only caveat is that they did not tell me I could pick my own door (they were hanging a new door for me and I am new to the process); once I found I could, we rescheduled. Other than that, they did an excellent job under difficult circumstances--the original door frame and steel bar was just wrong and they were able to make everything right again in very good time.

He did a great job of repairing my aluminum siding that was key to re-attaching my electrical service. Quick to respond, next-day service, but I cannot allow myself to rate anyone perfect, as we all are flawed to some extent.

They worked steadily on my project, which I appreciated-it was very, very cold out at the time. The stair railing was a bit wobbly at the end, though. Over all quality: pretty good.

Performed small job on time, quickly and professionally.

While Handyman Connectiion was unable to help me with my plantation shutter problem, I have a previous positive experience with them and expect to use them for future projects.
