Tim Hamblen was very flexible and easy to work with. He returned my calls within a short period of time. I thought he was very fair and honorable in handling a delicate situation between me and another company. I would recommend him to others.

We've hired Hamblen & Sons to install a gas on/off valve and stove installation. Technician arrived spot on time and worked hard to get the work done in a timely manner. Every happy with service and price.

Project: Repair or Install Gas Piping
Tim and his son were a little late for the appointment to do the work, but they called and let us know there was a delay so it was no problem. Their work was superb, they installed the gas piping exactly to the directions the appliance people had given us, cleaned up after they were done, and came in under the estimate. They were really easy to work with, did what they said they would do. The work was true quality and we will definately use them again.

Ms. Maria, I don't mean to sound defensive... BUT... Let's see... You received 4 quotes & we were the 3rd lowest...by several hundred dollars. So, you asked us to come install your heater, @ 3:30 on a Friday. We agreed, arrived on time & got you back in service... for the EXACT agreed price! Through no fault of our own, but due to a manufacturer's change, at NO additional fee, we returned & altered the venting. At that time we also repaired your leaking furnace condensate line... again, at NO additional fee... and you dock us for "Value for Money"? You have managed to amuse me! That all said, we still appreciate your business. Thank you, Tim

They were fantastic to work with. they came out on a sunday afternoon to replace my water heater. it was a few dollars more than the other price i got, but the other guys wouldn't work on Sunday! who wants to wait a whole extra day to get hot water? Nice, clean, professional, and as a bonus, they helped me unclog my bathroom sink! thanks guys!!!!

Knew this was the right contractor after speaking with Tim for just a few minutes. Very competative price. Professional install of a natural gas line extention to my new free standing gas range. They have the mechanics and costing of my type of job down to a science If you have a similar project you should hire hamblin and sons.

A father - son team that can't be beat! I had an earthquake valve installed and Tim H. (father) walked me through it on the phone so I could give him the information about the gas meter and piping, in turn allowing him to determine a firm estimate. Drew H. (son) came out the next day (!) on time (actually a bit early but he called ahead to make sure that was ok) and performed the installation flawlessly. I know where to go for my next water heater etc.

Since my husband did most of the communicating with Tim I was a bit out of the loop. Drew came out installed the new water heater professionally and efficiently. The bill was a bit over the bid but a discount was given. I had a question and called Tim and got what I perceived as a bit of an attitude. It just added a little negative to an otherwise good experience.

Ms. Sheri, Most contractors would be grateful for your 4.5 R/R & just move on, but... my compulsiveness forces me to clarify. Please review your invoice; you'll see that although we DID perform work beyond the scope your husband & I agreed to, your invoice Bottom Line did NOT increase one penny. My intent in showing an increased price & then subtracting it from your invoice, was to make sure you would appreciate the value of our services... even more, resulting in a Raving "5 STAR" Review. It didn't work out so well. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding and the perceived 'bit of an attitude'. I never want to come across that way. Tim
