HBD Associates, Inc. dba Safetec Energy Services, is a family owned business since 1991, with main headquarters in Mount Vernon serving the Bronx, New York City and Westchester County and offices in Springfield Gardens serving Queens, Brooklyn and Nassau county. We are divided into two departments. The primary department installs and services HVAC systems, control wiring and electrical upgrades in the commercial and residential arena. The secondary division installs insulation on mechanical equipment and pipes, new construction and retrofit construction work such as weatherization programs. The company has a vast knowledge in all forms of heating, including hydronic, radiant and steam, oil and gas fired burners. HBD is constantly updating the staff’s knowledge of the changes in the industry by performing in-house training, literature review and networking with fellow HVAC/Construction contractors and trade meetings/shows. HBD ensures compliance with NFPA, NYS, NYC and all Federal guidelines pertaining to the installation of HVAC equipment. Give us a call today. You will be glad you did. Mr. Bell was very responsive to both my calls and my request for service. He was friendly, courteous and professional at all times. After examining our equipment he went out to Home Depot to purchase the necessary parts and made the repairs right away. He actually turned around and came back to the house to drop off the receipt, after having left already. Very considerate!

Great customer service. Last year Harold installed gas piping for my BBQ grill outside and the quality and workmanship was excellent. For a busy plumber he was courteous, quick to respond and just charged me for the labor. He even gave me the receipt for the parts. I would definitely hire him again. Now I'm enjoying my grill year round!

The whole project went well. The price was more than reasonable, far lower than other estimates. My air-conditioner worked just fine all summer long, and my electric bill came way down.I feel that I was very lucky to get such an honest guy to do this job for me.Thank you SERVICE MAGIC. JOE W.
