Project: Repair a Deck or Porch
The job took 9 days verses the 2 that were quoted. His attendance was sporadic and on a schedule that caused me to check in from time to time to see if he was coming to work that day. Brian is very personable and did a good job on my deck. Good value for the money some small things in contract were not completed but I forgot to check them before releasing payment.

i felt. I got a good deal and was pleased overall feel the people who did the staining weren't very careful with cleanlyness to splatered stain on my red brick walk and didn't stain the small back of my retaining wall.

I received a call from Brian at GT Maryland almost immediately upon submitting my request. He made a trip to Chevy Chase to check out my entire deck (on top and below) and provide an estimate (I had already received others for comparison purposes.) The estimate was fair and covered what was needed on my deck; he did not try to talk me into anything more (which others had done.) He told me exactly what he would do and he did it! The week of rain slowed everything down, but once he was able to do the work, it was terrific. I am basing the final review on comments from my -- very picky -- realtors and photos Brian sent before and after.

Brian priced the job fairly -- it was not the low bid, but I thought the service promised made the bid attractive -- and followed through admirably. He provided a level of service over and above what I expected, and I will definitely use GT Maryland on future projects.

Brian smith did a great job on the deck. gave great information. will recommend to anyone. Brian noticed that there was some rotting would and we had him rebuild the whole deck. We did have Brian do some additional work around our home, he did some drywall repair and also did some painting and tile work in our kitchen.
