I chose to work in this industry because I chose plumbing because it is a practical field. You can see what you make, and people really need good plumbing. .I love working in Seattle, Washington because I was born here, my community ties are here, and it is a beautiful area..We started in this industry in I started as a contractor, with a new journeyman license, in 1970. .We describe our business as Family owned and operated
Things You May Not Know About Me
  • Favorite Local Restaurant: Capitol Hill has so many restaurants, and I love all of them. You can travel the world within a few blocks of my house.
  • Favorite Travel Destination: I love to see the world. Each area has it's particular charm. I've particularly liked Italy, India, Canada, and look forward to many other places.
  • Favorite Sports Team: My favorite sport for the moment is Tennis. My wife and I went to see the Davis cup when it was in Portland, and just loved the intimate atmosphere.
  • Hometown: Seattle is where I'm from!
  • What do you hope to contribute to the world?: We will make a difference by installing good products. We will save our customers money and the world, it's resources, with efficient products.

Shawn came out gave me a bid, which was very reasonable. I had all galvanized pipes replaced, and put up into the rafters in the basement. They got the job done on time came back out when my new vanity had to be moved. They were very professional and cleaned up after they left each day. I will have them back when I renovate my bathroom, or if I decide to put in a new one.

Project: Repair or Install Gas Piping
I hired Good Services to hook up the gas to an already installed tankless hot water heater. The initial work was done incorrectly and did not pass inspection (incorrectly sized gas pipe installed). They did send a plumber over that afternoon to fix the problem. However, that work left a gas left. I returned home to a gas smell. PSE came out and found a leaking fitting. My gas is now off until I can contact Good Services in the morning, have them fix the problem and then have PSE out again to check it before turning the gas back on. Certainly this is all a big inconvenience. But, the safety issue is quite serious.

Project: Install, Replace or Repair a Main Water Pipe
during interview prior to estimate, seemed most knowledgeable about the challenges of our water main replacement project (old house, had to bore under a rockery and cement driveway. Estimate to do the work was very fair. They were on time, completed the work earlier than expected, were mindful of landscaping and relatively neat.

Excellent (low bid) price on good product. Daniel was good about answering questions and discussing options. Installation appointment was on time and completed in a timely manner. I am happy with the performance of the furnace and the clean installation.
