If you are foolish enough to hire Pedro,get the bid in writing,and don’t give him a penny more.He gave us a written bid,but each day asked for more money anyway.The 1st day,he asked for more money.I thought it was language-based misunderstanding.The 2nd day,I believed him when he said he was just inexperienced at bidding jobs&gave him more.After the 3rd (and FINAL)day,I now realize that this is how he operates.He underbids everyone else,then raises the price as he goes.The price ended higher than anyone else’s,for what was decent work–not great,not bad,just perfectly mediocre.And now we have to find someone to fix the huge mess he left!

Electrical problem not totally solved (another contractor solved immediately). Price charged too high, paid anyway. Mr. Gomez claimed experience in many skills. My take: A day laborer with limited skills is well over his head as a trusted handyman. Score: D+

Pedro showed up on time, was very courteous and knew what he was doing. He installed a hand rail for the back deck (three floors), completed some sheet rock work and welded a door stopper for my front gate. Very professional and completed the work in a few hours. His labor rate was also very affordable. I would definitely use him again and would absolutely recommend.

I hired him to install a bidet (toilet) seat. He had never installed one of these before, and it appeared he had difficulty reading/understanding the instructions. I had to help him through the project.
