Gordon was prompt and did excellent work. It wasn't a simple problem. Both the heat exchange unit and the fan needed to be replaced. It's so nice to have hot water again!!!

Quality work and thorough service. I could have gotten it cheaper, but I doubt with the attention Gordon gave to my project. You get what you pay for with contract work (you should at least). Recommend.

Gordon is friendly, flexible, and professional. His prices are pretty much the same as the market. He gave us a 15% coupon which was nice. I would hire him again.

The service took much longer than I anticipated. For something that ended up being relatively simple - the cost was a lot more than I anticipated.
Comment from My Dear Watson Plumbing, Heating & Cooling
I don't know who wrote this review. In some cases I would rather be thorough then quick. If all things were easy then there would be no need for service tech's. I will work harder to be more efficient in the future.

Review by Masood and karen M.in Westford, MA Project: Repair or Service a Central Air Conditioning System
My Dear Watson showed up and did the repair withouth giving an estimate. He then charged $656.47 for less than an hour of work. I looked up the parts which totaled $35.95, so I asked, "Do you charge $610/hour?" He replied that he made a mistake as he was in a rush and the bill should have been $496. I said over $400/hour seems to be excessive and he stated, "that is the cost to run a business." I have since called others who have quoted $180 to $220. for the same exact service.

I am glad time has passed anf that I can respond to Karens comments. I'm sorry she feels that I charge to much for my services. If she has a problem with that she should take it up with the state and the Licensing boards. I have to carry the cost of doing buisness as well as pay myself a salary and make a profit. It is expensive but I know what it cost and the bad part is the end user pays the price. I'm sorry she feels she was mislead or taken advantage of but the project was done on May 28th FRiday afternoon at 5pm on Memeorial day weekend. To date I have yet to be paid for my services or parts. She's had A/C all summer.

The only thing is that he has to come back to work on it because he does not have the part to replace.
