The mission of Gaia Gardens is to provide a beautiful, organic, sustainable environment which integrates aesthetically and ecologically with your property. We provide personalized design tailored to your lifestyle. Our practices are based on sustainable land use and permaculture. In other words, we design with a preference toward low maintenance, native, and useful landscaping that will thrive while helping with drainage problems, heating and cooling costs and even providing food for people and wildlife. We determine the existing habitat of your property and design accordingly. Each feature is carefully considered for proper placement in it's own micro-climate, yet treated as an element in the ever changing composition of nature. Gaia Gardens provides a full range of service: design, installation and maintenance of hardscaping, plantings, container and specialty gardening. Even though “We don't do lawns,” we install them. Our maintenance practices are specific to the plants (which are as individual as people), and your stylistic preferences. We use IPM (integrated pest management) for effective, environmentally low-impact, low-cost problem solving.
