Furniture Magicians is a locally owned company that served the Virginia Hampton Roads since 1993. We specialize in furniture re-finishing, repair and kitchen cabinet refinishing. We also hand cane and rush chairs. Recently we added mosaic tile work to our expertise. We built our company on honesty and integrity. We pride ourselves on the highest of quality work and customer satisfaction.

How We Got Started
I chose to work in this industry because My Grandpa Miller used to whittle toys for my cousins, my brothers and me. I was fascinated with soap whittling, but left it behind for many years..I love working in the Penisula and Tidewater area because there is an incredible amount of diversity among those living here..We started in this industry in I began working in furniture repair and refurbishing in 1993..We describe our business as Rooted in the community

Furniture Magic had reasonable price however the quality was very subpar. We went to their location for fabric which was excellent. Nancy was timely. She met the time frame in which she said she would have it completed. However the quality was so bad we took the chairs back. It has been two weeks and we have not received any other information or communication about the project. Based on the quality of the work I can not recommend them to any of my family or friends.

Once we adjusted the welt cording to fit more snugly, Mr. E accepted the chairs and seemed pleased when he picked them up. The work was completed 6 months ago and I have not heard any more from the customers.

Susan Price and her assistance were very pleasant and explained exactly what they were doing, throughout the repair. She was able to answer all of my questions. She was very knowledgeable about her craft. Yes, I have already told my co-workers about the job/repair, and I handled out her business cards. My family is very pleased with the service she provided. Great job Susan and young assistant !!!

We contracted with Furniture Magicians to reupholster a computer desk chair. Their price was competitive, and the job completed the day the chair was brought to them. A minor glitch occurred in reassembling the chair and Furniture Magicians promptly came to our house and made the necessary repairs as soon as they were notified. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with the price, service and reliability and recommend them highly.

She did an amazing job with a very old table that had been in a barn for many years. I was thrilled with the result. I intend to return to Furniture Magicians with other furniture refinishing projects in the near future.
