These guys were on time, and worked efficiently. They forgot to clean under the couches though. I will probably have them back next time the carpet needs cleaning.

They did an efficient job cleaning my dryer vent but were in and out in about three minutes which makes the amount paid seem excessive.

The price for the job in question was $50 we send 2 technitions and a truck with a very high powered expensive duct cleaning machine to do the proper job, we are also fully insured and bonded. As the owner I doubt the tech's were there for 3 minutes. At Freshstep we never charge extra if the job takes longer then usual and we never charge less if easier. We never told anybody we charge by the minute. I hope we never mislead any customer.

Had that 'wet dog smell' in living room of new house but it still lingered. I'd estimate that about 25% of it was removed, even after hitting it with full strength deodorizer after steaming. I've since covered the area with baking soda, and vacuumed and that removed an additional 50 pct. Will add carpet deodorizer powder or spray white vinegar to finish it off. I was disappointed with the result of the service. Probably not the fault of the vendor, but I expected a better result.

I have 2 apartments that they cleaned the carpets in. One apartment got special treatment due to a cat urine smell. They came and did both apartments in 45 minutes, which I found to be very odd. As I figured, the carpets were sopping wet!! I had to get out my shop vac and suck up the water left in it. So much so that in this old house the water had seeped through the floor and into the basement. Not a lot, mind you, but you could see the drips on the floor boards. As far as the pet smell. It's worse now than ever and I'm afraid they drove the urine into the wood floor under the carpeting!

Customer failed to meet us at property, as arranged. The carpets were filthy & saturated with pet urine. It is possible that odor remains, given the severity. It is not our opinion that the carpets were left soaked to the backing, but since this the job was done a month ago, in the absence of customer & we were not given a chance to discuss or review the results with her, we have no way of knowing the validity of customer's claims. We have tried to contact customer & hope for the chance to discuss this further. We hope that our reputation (avg Service Magic rate of 4.54) allows SM customers to consider the unusual circumstances in this case.

I inquired about cleaning my dryer vent and got an immediate call back. The owner was courteous the technician was on time for appointment and friendly. Happy to say my dryer is free of built up lint and clothes are drying faster.
