City: Houston Project: Wood or Fiber-Cement Siding - Repair or Partially Replace I had requested that the top and bottom horizontal pieces on my porch railing be replaced because they were rotten.  In hindsight perhaps I should have had the entire railing replaced.… Read Complete Rating I had requested that the top and bottom horizontal pieces on my porch railing be replaced because they were rotten.  In hindsight perhaps I should have had the entire railing replaced.  The result was that the vertical pieces did not fit perfectly with the replacement pieces leaving  perhaps a half inch area which needed caulking around each vertical brace. Additionally, the slats were not properly alligned nor were the nails hammered flush so the result is very unprofessional so that even caulking cannot hide the sloppy work. <br /> <br />Perhaps it was due to my communication but I cannot recommend this group.  I was happy with the siding work.
