Dave c ame to look at my foundation. He told me that it wasn't my foundation. I needed to get the water deverted from my foundation. He gave me a bid to do the work . It was a great price. He did more work than we agreed on. It great to work with an honest contractor that goes over and beyond what they give you a bid on. I would recommmend founation 1 to many one who asked. Thank you Dave

Project: Raise a Concrete Foundation
I met with half a dozen foundation company's before contacting Foundation 1 and had some widely varying estimates on the work my home needed. I then contacted Dave at Foundation 1 and he was the first guy to suggest I have a structural engineer out to give me an objective report on the work I needed to have done before he came out to provide an estimate. I felt very comfortable that Foundation 1 was being honest about my foundation repair needs and Dave was a pleasure to work with.

Foundation1 has great customer service. The owner is very knowledgeable and he treats you really well from the beginning (unlike other foundation companies that I spoke to!!). I don't know much about their work itself, because when I was ready to hire him to make repairs on a foreclosure I lost the bidding war and didn't get the foreclosure home I wanted. I'll definitely use Foundation1 if I need a dry basement though. His customer service skills speaks for it all.

Project: Repair Structural Problems with Steel Beams
A fantastic company. They have worked with us now on multiple difficult and large projects, finding the right solution when there isn't always an easy one to find. Dave and his crew do an excellent job and are very professional, courteous and friendly. They also make sure you are completely satisfied and are extremely competitively priced, lower than every other bid we received on each project. Would definitely recommend. Would have them do everything that needed to be done in my house if they would.

Overall, the crew did a good job. And recently heavy rains confirmed that the fix was effective which was a big relief as I had just put in new carpet. The only concern that I had was that during the demolition process one of the members hit a drain pipe with the jack hammer and knowcked a hole in it. He did patch it, but I forgot to ask the David if the accident had been reported and confirm that he would be responsible if something happened from the repair. David was very friendly and very helpful and I appreciate the attitudes of all the workers. Kay R.
