However in this business of residential remodeling every customer is different and has different likes and dislikes. Matt and his team were great. They did what they said they were going to do and did it within the time they stated. There was attention to detail and I really appreciated that. They poured a new concrete walk for me and when they were cleaning up they even added new mulch around the walk. It was a nice touch that was unexpected. They did almost a complete remodel on my bathroom and I am very satisfied with their work and will hire them again. They also custom built screens for my windows and repaired my pool screen. I am planning my next job and will definitely hire Fortified Construction again. Thanks Matt!

Matt did an excellent job. He showed up on time and just did a fantastic job. I will hire him again and I will recommend him to friends.

I thought Matt was quite easy to work with. I checked out the references he gave and they were good. I also checked his website and liked what I saw. I gave Fortified a 4 in respect to quality because there were a couple areas that I would prefer more polished, such as the grout line as you enter and leave the patio. They were much too wide. Also, in respect to the painting, tape was not placed around the base of the crank that opens and close the windows before the window edges were painted. Matt never did an offical walk through with me so I did my own walk through. I would hire him agian and recommend him to anyone.

Thank you for your feedback. We bent over backwards for this customer as we always do. She received a complete addition remodel for 1/2 of what the other contractors quoted her, and received a far better quality completed project. The grout lines were due to the existing threshold from the sliding glass door that did not allow for the tile to go any closer. The windows are 40 years old and the window cranks are nailed to the 2x4 framing and did not allow sheetrock to install behind them to allow for extra clean lines in that area. We got approvals from her mother who is the actual homeowner on both of the polished items before moving forward.
