Forest Ridge Builders came out and tore down our old deck (25 yrs old) and replaced it with a brand new one of treated lumber with PVC railings. John was knowledgeable, prompt and professional all the way. His crew did a nice job each day and cleaned up upon completion. I will absolutely use Forest Ridge again in the future...

Very pleased with Forest Ridge - Showed up on time - Finished on Schedule - Quality of work is excellent. Went above and beyond to please - They noticed a small repair was needed to my home and fixed even though it was outside of job request. Would highly recommend.

John and his crew were great. They came on time, worked efficiently, left the site clean and were extremely considerate. When asked to look at something unrelated to the job, they were very were amenable to give me their opinion and repair it if possible. John was responsive to my requests. They did beautiful work and finished sooner than anticipated. I showed my deck to a neighbor who then called John to do the same job for him. John and the crew with him couldn't have been nicer. I can recommend John with no reservation.

Overall, the quality and craftsmanship were very good. John Smucker (Owner) made it a point to resolve any issues until we were completely satisfied. He is very honest and straightforward.

Project: Install Interior Trim and Decorative Moldings
John is a great guy to work with. He communicates clearly and is very thorough. His team is very thoughtful: they took care of everything. They handled all of the challenges they came across in stride. I gave them four out of five stars because 1) This was a trim job and his guys are mostly framers. The one more skilled craftsman John assigned to finish the work still didn't do what I consider pro quality trim work. And, 2) They set up their chop saw on my lawn, where the grass is fairly deep, and didn't clean up some of the little cuttings they generated. I raked the area to find them before the lawnmower did.

Home that the work was performed in was a modular home with settling issues causing uneven walls and ceilings to work with.

I am completely thrilled with the job Forst Ridge has done. Their prices were very reasonable. Their workmanship is wonderful. Everyone who works for or is associated with the company has been polite, helpful and extremely hard working. This was my first experience with a project like this and John Schmucker has been an absolute pleasure to work with and a grreat heal to me. I can't say enough good things about him, his employees or his subcontractors. Excellent job!
