Jim Wetmore of Fit & Finish is truly a craftsman. He installed all of my kitchen cabinets and completed all of the trim perfectly. He was on the job early and stayed late to complete the job perfectly in one day. His attention to detail and quality of workmanship along with his work ethic is a quality rarely seen anywhere today and truly deserves a 10 + rating. He is one of the only contracters that I ever hired with whom I would definitely do business with again and consider for any & all future projects, Thank You Jim!!! Interior trim project, entire first floor, basic bathroom update/refresh. Jim Wetmore did a great job! Very nice, very prompt thru entire project. Has a good eye for what looks good, based on budget. Level of detail was moderate, but would have confidence to have him on as lead in a million dollar projects. From the first work estimate to the final was extremly detailed and professional. He knows where to get materials and suggests good alternatives. He works with you well thru entire project. He called and scheduled within minutes of using service magic, and for the West Chicago area he beat out competion because of that right away.

Truth in advertising; Jim Wetmore of Fit & Finish is all he says he is. Extraordinary Work Ethic: Jim & Greg (assistant) arrived on time each project day for a full productive day. Meticulous Attention to Detail: I can honestly say everything was done with quality that displays beauty when finished by experienced craftsmen. They ended every workday by cleaning up after themselves. Professional Experience: Jim & Greg's expertise in the trades meant there was no project sub-contracting, thus keeping down the project cost. Project: Remodel a Bathroom
Jim was very patient with us and worked with us over a period of a few months to finalize details of the project and costs. When project time began he and his helper (Greg) were always on time and worked diligently throughout the days. The project was completed on time and the result was everything and more than what we had hoped...they are perfectionists and it shows in the quality of the work. We are extremely satisfied and would highly recommend Fit & Finish to anyone.

Jim was great and did everything as promised and more. He was easy to work with and was extremely professional. His attention to detail was amazing and he did an outstanding job, finishing when promised and arriving when scheduled every day. He took extra time to explain things to me, which helped ease my mind and made the project go smoothly. He worked quickly to get the job done, but it was obvious that the quality of the work was more important to him than just finishing as soon as possible. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a top-notch remodeling contractor who really cares about the work that he does.

We are extremely pleased with the work that Fit & Finish completed for us on our kitchen and first floor project. Jim Wetmore is a perfectionist and represents the homeowner as a general contractor in dealing with various vendors so that both the big issues and small details are completed correctly. F&F began the project and completed it on time, on budget and to our total satisfaction. In fact, we would say that our expectations were exceeded in dealing with Jim and Greg, his assistant on this assignment. They really are a five star team. We would recommend them to anyone who needs work and have asked them to take on our master bath.

Quality is my number one concern when picking a craftsman. I've always said I'm willing to pay more to get good work, and with Jim you get exceptional work. He works hard to exceed your expectations. Not only will you be happy with your final project, but you'll find him very professional, honest, on-time, and has the best work ethic of any contractor I've ever used. He worked hard to cut my costs wherever possible as well. Sure, I probably could have found somebody to do it for less, but I wouldn't have been as happy in the end. I'm still amazed at what a great job he did for me and want him to do 2 more rooms in my house. THANKS

We finally found the right contractor! We saw Jim's excitement & enthusiasm that he has for his work when he first came over to see our project. He showed up when he said he would and the first day of work-- I came home and found the demo part was done and the clean up couldn't have been better. He worked through unexpected problems with us and was always cost conscientious. His helper, Ken, was quiet, but obviously hard working & dependable. Jim made recommendations, some we adhered to and some we didn't- and that was still okay with him. We're writing up our project wish list and will be calling Jim for his bid again!
