Project: Inspect a Home
Chris Ferguson is the best home inspector I have ever had hands down. We have a had few over the years and he is just way better than anything we could have hoped for and yet his prices were great. One of the lowest priced companies we looked into. I highly recommend him. If you want a quick list of problems hire however you want, if you want a thorough 60-100 page report to truly understand the condition of your home, hire Ferguson.

Project: Inspect a Home
Newly built home warranty inspection. The report made it seem like the house was cluttered and unable to inspect lots of areas like the attic, washer/dryer, and plumbing fixtures. Roof inspection was an unacceptable 'visual' inspection with a camera for a 2 story house. You can't see all of the roof from the ground. None of the recepticals were tested. Provided good safety tips, but felt like the report and inspection were lacking. Went with this as the cheapest option and felt like we got what we paid for. Specifically asked him what to do to ensure a thorough inspection and he didn't mention areas he found in his report as unaccessible.

Project: Inspect a Home
This was my first home inspection. Chris was friendly when he answered my questions. He explained to me what to expect and did what he said. He inspected the house according to the house inspection code. He delivered the report quickly. The thing I like best was that when a deficiency was found, he explained why it was a problem and how to fix it. If it was something I could fix myself, he told me what was needed. The report contained pictures of all deficiencies. It was a very pleasant experience.
