Felix Maintenance Gardening, also known as FMG, could become your full service landscaping contractor. We have been in business for many moons and mostly because of word of mouth references! Service Magic is a new arena for us and already we have done quite well as some of our customers have stated. We are a design and build landscape company that specializes in residential landscape construction. Our process of meeting with the customer to fine tune the landscape request and deliver 30 years worth of experience added to the intial request helps the customer to visualize the scope and possibilities of their project. At times we need more specifics and persue a detailed plan which defines exact locations of pavement, sprinklers, turf areas, and structures to ease into procuring the building permit if necessary. I am confident that we can resolve all your landscaping needs now and into the future. References are available upon request.

John Felix was very professional and prompt. He contacted me early on and gave me a quote that was very reasonable. John came by on Saturday so I could show him what I had in mind. Then he arranged for my rocks to be delivered on Monday and was here with his team all day Monday and Tuesday. The job got done and done well. Thanks Felix Maintenance Gardening.

John and his team were very professional and very pleasant. He provided a comprehensive plan for our yard after discussing our needs and thoughts. He worked with us through out the entire time, making adjustments as required. They were always on time, maintained a clean area, and completed the job as planned. His knowledge of plants was very helpful when it came to deciding what plants would work in our environment. When one tree was not what we planned on, he ordered an additional tree for us at no charge to us! I would highly recommend Felix Maintenance Gardening.

I found the change order payment process a bit frustrating. I would have preferred a contract for the total amount rather than one part and then change orders for other parts. As to payment I would have preferred a percentage of the whole up front-- perhaps a percentage at mid point and then a final percentage payment at the end of the project. I would have liked to have received invoices or bills for the amounts paid. The only records I have are my cancelled checks and the very confusing change orders . The workmanship is first rate and you folks are wonderful to work with!

When some items in a contract are to be chosen by the customer it leaves a price range that cannot be determined. Stone that is priced by the pound should be calculated after the customer chooses the color of the stone thus a written change order is the standard procedure for changes to the contract. When a contract is completed the final payment constitutes acceptance. No invoice required!

All the landscapers I contacted were courteous. John Felix's presentation was the most complete and professional. The same professional and personable demeanor continued throughout the project, and I am very glad I selected his plan and his company for my project. While the project went over budget, those additional expenses followed an orderly process of written change orders and reflected actual changes to the original plans. The contract included a timeline and a progress payment schedule. Despite rainy days, the project was completed ahead of schedule.
