Greg Flakne, CP, with thirty years of nursery and landscape experience, opened Flakne's Exterior Design/Scape Co. in 1996. A St. Paul native, Greg began his landscape experience at the age of 15 at Highland Nursery in St. Paul. He studied Landscape Design immediately after high school, and then majored in Landscape Horticulture at the University of Minnesota. Greg worked as a Landscape Designer at Bachman's for ten years. He was then hired as Landscape Manager of Mulligan's Tree Moving Co. in Northfield, Minnesota to create and run its new landscape department. Later, realizing the need to have better control of the many aspects of his landscaping projects, Greg opened Flakne's in the spring of 1996.
