Ricardo seemed like a good guy, so I hired him to stain and seal a brand-new deck. He was responsive to calls and provided a good product (B-M Arborcoat). Unfortunately, he did not understand his product and applied the stain as if it was paint, and did not know a seal coat was required (the website, salesmen, and even the can itself say so) - it would have cost more for a sealer. I declined because his workmanship was extremely sloppy, with inconsistencies, drips, and splatters everywhere. I was seeking a professional to help save the day, but Ricardo disappointed.

Ricardo was the first to call about my project on Service Magic. He followed up when I forgot to call him and came over that afternoon to give me an estimate. He was courteous, friendly, and professional. He arrived on time for both his estimate and for the actual job. He was able to complete my job just 2 days after the estimate! Ricardo did a very detailed job painting our stairwell and front door (in the rain!). He listened when I told him my "pet peeves" with painting and paid extra attention to this aspect of his paint job. He waited for me to go over the results (I had to run out) and did every touch up I asked for. Excellent job

i expected a bit more for the money. The painting job was fine, but the biggest disappointment was the time my husband had to spend cleaning up after this job. Paint speckled on my hard wood floors and overspray & splatter on our vinyl siding from staining the deck. It took 30-45 minutes to get the paint off the floor, but it's been all afternoon to get the overspray washed off the vinyl siding. Very disappointed that protective covering was not used for the floor or the house. My husband is a contractor and he always cleans up after himself and takes extra precautions to protect the homeowner's home. I expected the same from this job.

Small deck, transformed from discolored and peeling wood to a nice painted brown in just two days. Ricardo was always in touch, and completed the job quickly.

Awesome job! Ricardo was very professional and answered all my questions. He gave great advise on what to do the keep my deck and fence looking good and like wood. The other guys all suggested I paint it and that was not an option for me. I love the wood look! Ricardo was flexable when I added onto my job-I wanted everything power washed before he stained the deck & fence. The deck & fence look great-I am happy that he was able to keep the original wood look of my deck. I will use Ricardo in the future for the maintenance aspect of my deck & fence! I would also recommend Ricardo to friends and family!

Ricardo painted our kitchen and sun-room. He did an outstanding job! He was neat, on time, and a true professional! We would definitely recommend him to our family and friends! These were not easy rooms to paint! Would hire him again in a heartbeat!

Ricardo was efficient, professional, and very detailed in completing our deck project. He was very knowledgable on types of decks and best methods for upkeep. After he finished his work, he called us the next day to see if we were still pleased and needed any touch-ups. We will be calling him again real soon.

Ricardo is a man of his word.Came when he told me. I had him power wash the cement around the pool. It wasn't done in 20 years. It came out great. HE WILL BE DOING OTHER JOBS AT THIS HOUSE. THANK YOU RICARDO. ANN FROM WAKEFIELD,MA.

Ricardo from Expect Painters was very professional, called & came over within a day to give us a price on cleaning & staining our decks. We hired him & all the work was done as scheduled, on time, & our deck looks wonderful. Ricardo was always in touch with us & seemed truly concerned with keeping the customer informed & happy. We would not hesitate to hire him again in the future & recommend to friends!
