Project: Install or Replace Foundation Drains
He bid low and then once the project got underway kept saying things were not included in the bid and I needed to pay extra for them or do the work myself. I had asked him specifically before I hired him how much over his bid he expected the project to go and he said he never goes over his bid. He started off with the builders permit not being included in the bid, then waterproofing the exterior of the new construction (he put an addition on my existing basement also) was not included, then the sump pump was not included. He charged me an additional $1,600 for one days worth of work for digging out mud and that was when I fired him.

Finished on time at quoted cost. Not an expert at concrete work, but looks very nice
