We liked the options that Eagles Crest gave us for our deck. The communication was superb and our new deck is beautiful!

The work was good but the job was poorly managed. It took 18 days to do a job that was promised to be done in 2 days, and 13 of those days was waiting for Mark to return from vacation. Men worked on the job without supervision and we had to take extra vacation to allow them to come back and correct the mistakes when Marked returned to see the mistakes. He is now trying to charge us more than the contracted price because he bid a piece rate in a county that he doesn't know the building codes and did not renegotiate the contract when he found there were changes made to the plans by the county. While the work was done well, this has been a poor experience with hiring a contractor.

The miscommunication was that I had been dealing with the husband on site and explained to him "we do this all the time in SW Portland" however Milwaukie could say otherwise (depends on plan reviewer). So I traded materials and purchased cedar to wrap their porch out of good faith after explaining to the husband the situation. As it was time to pay I was then dealing with only the wife. My mistake

Eagles Crest Construction was amazing. Mark and his team were organized and timely. When the project was completed, it was excactly what I had pictured, if not better. I would highly recommend this company and plan on using Eagles Crest Constrution for future remodeling projects.
